Ingredients to make Chocolate Carrot Cake:
- 3 carrots
- 200 milliliters of Oil
- 4 eggs
- 400 grams of Sugar (2 cups)
- 10 grams of baking powder
- 300 grams of flour
- 200 grams of Chocolate to decorate
How to make Chocolate Carrot Cake:
- To make this quick and easy carrot cake, the carrots must be peeled and chopped. Then, they are introduced into the blender together with the oil and the eggs and crushed.
- Once the above ingredients are integrated, add the sugar, baking powder and half of the flour to the blender. Continue blending and add the other half of flour. If it is difficult to mix these ingredients, you can transfer everything to a bowl to integrate with a spatula or manual rods.
- Pour the dough into a previously greased mold and bake the carrot cake at 180ºC for 40 minutes, or until ready. It should be noted that depending on the type of oven, the carrot cake may take more or less.
- Ready! Let it cool and, meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave, whichever is more convenient. Of course, if you opt for the microwave, it should be done in short intervals to prevent the chocolate from burning.
- When the cake is cold, unmold it, pour the melted chocolate on top and serve. Ready! You can now enjoy this delicious carrot cake with chocolate as a dessert, accompanied by an oatmeal smoothie or a natural energy juice.
