Ingredients to make Valentine’s Day Chocolate Cake:
- For the chocolate cake:
- 230 milliliters of water
- 60 grams of dark chocolate
- 250 grams of white sugar
- 10 grams of yeast
- 3 egg
- 230 grams of flour
- 230 grams of unsalted butter
- 5 grams of salt
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the strawberry filling:
- 2 cups of strawberries
- 1 tablespoon of corn starch
- 1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon of white sugar
- 1 splash of lemon juice
- For the cream and cheese:
- 400 milliliters of whipping cream (2 cups)
- 200 grams of spreadable cheese
- 130 grams of icing sugar
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make Chocolate Cake for Valentine’s Day:
- To start making the chocolate cake recipe for Valentine’s Day, you must first prepare the American chocolate cake:
- Mix the chocolate with hot water and reserve until it cools down a bit.
- Sift all the dry ingredients into another bowl.
- We beat the eggs with the vanilla essence and 1/4 of the chocolate mixture.
- Melt the butter and add it to the dry ingredients along with the remaining chocolate.
- Add the egg and chocolate mixture and beat well.
- We put the chocolate cake in the oven at 175 ºC for 40 minutesand once cooked we take it out and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
