For the mass:

• 200 grams of flour

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 pinch of pepper

• 1 pinch of oregano

• 3 tablespoons of oil

• 1 jet of water

For the filling:

• 2 ears of corn

• 1 onion

• 2 tablespoons of sugar

• 1 pinch of salt

• 200 grams of mozzarella cheese

• 100 grams of Parmesan cheese

How to make Chocolate Cake:

The first thing is to prepare the dough. To do this, mix all the dry ingredients and then, little by little, add the oil and water while kneading to create a uniform mixture. Knead very well so that everything is homogeneous and continue kneading a little more so that the corn cake dough is very elastic.

If you are going to work in individual molds, divide the dough into two parts. Now, if you have a large mold, stretch the dough with a rolling pin or with your fingers to create the base of the corn cake.

Separate the grains from the corn and add them to the pan with the onion to fry them for a sea of minutes. There are also those who make the corn pie and white sauce adding milk cream in this step. When the corn is almost ready, add the mozzarella cheese, mix until it softens and turn off the heat. Without a doubt, the mozzarella cheese will make us a creamy corn cake, which is why we do not recommend skipping this step.

Divide the mixture between the molds with the base of the cake and spread the Parmesan cheese on top of the filling. Bake the corn cake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
