Chocolate Bombs Recipe

Ingredients to make Chocolate Bombs:

  • 250 grams of chocolate to melt
  • 100 grams of chocolate powder
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • sphere mold (silicone or suitable for chocolate)
  • milk to taste

How to make Chocolate Bombs:

  1. Start the recipe by melting the chocolate either in a bain-marie or in the microwave in 10-second batches so it doesn’t burn.
  2. Use the chocolate that you like the most, you can even use a bar of your favorite chocolate.
  3. Pour the chocolate into the sphere mold and make sure to cover it completely, remove the excess chocolate and place it in the freezer for 3 minutes to harden.
  4. Repeat the process with a second layer of chocolate to obtain more rigid spheres, and return to the freezer for 3 more minutes.
  5. Then, unmold and, if necessary, remove the pieces of chocolate that have remained on the banks. Fill with a spoonful of powdered chocolate and some marshmallows, you can also vary the filling with vanilla or strawberry flavored powder.
  6. To close, heat a pot or plate, take a half sphere and heat the edge for a few seconds so that it melts a bit, so it will be much easier to close the chocolate bomb.
  7. Decorate with more melted chocolate, you can use white chocolate or colored chocolate, you can also add chocolate sprinkles or colored sprinkles.
  8. Now, the moment of truth: heat up some milk and dip your chocolate bomb into it, you will see how it opens on its own and the chocolate powder and marshmallow filling rises to the surface.
