Chocolate Arm Recipe

Ingredients to make Chocolate Arm:

  1. 500 grams of puff pastry
  2. 190 grams of cream cheese
  3. 3 tablespoons of Cocoa
  4. 3 tablespoons of Sugar
  5. 1 cup of Walnut
  6. ¼ cup Chocolate
  7. 1 piece of Egg

How to make Chocolate Arm:

  • The first step to prepare the chocolate arm will be to prepare all the ingredients to be used. It is important to mention that the cream cheese should be at room temperature.
  • Chop the chocolate and the walnut into small pieces. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Mix cream cheese, cocoa and sugar until well combined.
  • Reserve the previous mixture in a pastry
  • Separately, on a smooth, clean and lightly floured surface, spread the puff pastry and form a 20 x 40 cm rectangle with a thickness of 0.5 cm.
  • With the help of a pastry bag, spread the cream cheese over 3/4 of the puff pastry and sprinkle with the chopped walnuts and chocolate.
  • Carefully roll the puff pastry.
  • Make diagonal cuts every 4 cm. with the help of a knife. Lightly beat the egg and with it give a couple of varnishes to the puff pastry rolls.
  • Bake on waxed paper or a silicone mat for 10 minutes at 200ºC. After that time, lower the temperature to 180ºC and bake for another 15 minutes or until the puff pastry is well cooked and slightly golden.
  • Allow it to cool and serve. The chocolate arm goes very well with fresh milk, American coffee or black tea.
