Chipotle Shrimp with Tequila Recipe

Ingredients to make Chipotle Shrimp with Tequila:

  • 1 kilogram of shrimp
  • 250 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 glass of tequila
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • ½ unit of chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • 1 can of Chica chipotle pepper
  • 1 cup of tomato puree
  • 1 bottle of Maggi Juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 bar of butter

How to make Tequila Chipotle Shrimp:

  1. The shrimp, we peel it and wash it.
  2. We put water to boil with a little salt, and when it is boiling we put the shrimp for three minutes, drain them and reserve.
  3. In a frying pan, melt a small piece of butter and add the onion and garlic.
  4. When it is transparent, add the tomato puree, seasoning with the magi juice and salt.
  5. We added the tequila and a little of the water where we cooked the shrimp and let it cook for 5 more minutes, little by little we incorporated the cream and turned off.
  6. Melt the remaining butter in a Teflon pan and sauté the mushrooms until they are soft, turn off and add to the cream.
  7. The shrimp are served on a bed of white rice and bathed in the hot sauce.
