Chinese noodles with offal recipe

Ingredients to make Chinese noodles with offal:

  • 1 pound (approximately 2 cups) Chinese noodles
  • 1 pound (about 2 cups) chicken giblets
  • 1 cube of concentrated chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups of water
  • 5 turnip stalks, julienned
  • 2 carrots, julienne cut
  • 2 bell peppers, julienned
  • 1 onion, julienned
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 3 tablespoons of oil (1 tablespoon for cooking the pasta and 2 tablespoons for refrying)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • salt to taste

How to make Chinese offal noodles:

  1. In oil, sauté the giblets previously seasoned with salt and pepper, add the water and the cube.
  2. Correct the seasoning, and then add the sherry and cover
  3. Then add the soy sauce and cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup of water and cook until thickened, stirring constantly so that lumps do not form.
  4. In another frying pan, fry the turnips in oil until they crystallize.
  5. The turnips are removed and placed on top of the noodles that have been previously cooked normally.
  6. The carrots are cooked and placed on top of the noodles, then the onions and peppers. Finally, the giblets with their sauce are placed on top of the vegetables.
