Chicory Pizza Recipe with Capers and Olives

Ingredients to make Pizza with radicchio with capers and olives:

  1. One large or two medium pizza bases.
  2. 500 g of chicory.
  3. 150 g of emmental cheese.

  5. 60 g of black olives.
  6. 50 g of tomato sauce.
  7. 2 cloves of garlic.
  8. 3 tablespoons of virgin olive oil.

How to make Pizza of radicchio with capers and olives:

  • Peel the garlic cloves and crush them.
  • Clean the chicory, wash it and cut it into julienne strips.
  • We put it in a casserole with the oil, the garlic cloves, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Cook it over moderate heat for 15-20 minutes with the pan covered.
  • Meanwhile we wash the capers and olives.
  • Grease the oven plate with oil, put the pizza dough on the plate, and cover the base with tomato sauce.
  • Add the cooked chicory, the capers and the olives and the Emmental cheese on top.
  • When we have all the ingredients arranged on the pizza base, we bake for 30 minutes at 180 ºC.
