In this recipe we bring a dish full of flavor, made from marinated ribs and stewed chickpeas. We are going to make an easy, simple and delicious recipe for all legume lovers. Let’s see the step by step that we teach you to cook chickpeas with marinated ribs.

Ingredients to make Chickpeas with marinated ribs:

  • 500 grams of marinated ribs
  • 2 units of Carrot
  • 5 units of Tomatoes
  • 2 units of white onion
  • 150 grams of long onion
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 1 pinch of thyme
  • 1 pinch of Paprika
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 200 grams of soaked chickpeas

How to make Chickpeas with marinated ribs:

1 The first step to make this recipe is to pre-list the ingredients for our chickpeas with ribs.

2 Take the marinated ribs to a previously greased refractory, add a little salt to taste and take them to the oven at 180ºC for about 30 minutes.

3 Remove the water where we previously hydrated the chickpeas and add them to a pressure cooker, covering again with drinking water; add oregano, salt and thyme to taste. Cover our pressure cooker and cook for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the chickpeas are soft.

4 Take a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil, add the carrot in medium squares and let sauté for a few minutes.

5 Add the long onion and the white onion cut into very fine squares. What we want to achieve with this is a basic stew for our Chickpeas with Ribs recipe.

6 Add the tomato in small squares and let it conserve, you can add a little cumin to taste and garlic paste, this way our base stew will have more flavor.

7 Once you uncover the pot where we have the chickpeas and we observe that they are soft, add the base stew of our recipe. If you wish, you can add salt and black pepper to taste. Let keep over low heat for 10 more minutes to concentrate the flavors of our chickpeas.

8 Serve the chickpeas with ribs by adding the pieces of roasted ribs on top of the previously cooked chickpeas, decorate with a little dried oregano on top and it is ready to be eaten.
