Chickpeas with Chorizo ​​Recipe in a Fast Pot

Chickpeas with chorizo ​​in a fast pot are a traditional homemade spoon dish. Legumes cannot be missing from the table, and we can prepare them in many ways. That is why this time a simple and economical dish, very complete and that is prepared immediately in this way. If you like it spicy, you can add a few pieces of spicy chorizo ​​if you want.

  • 1 kilogram of chickpeas
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 sausage
  • 1 dessert spoon of sweet paprika
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 splash of oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Chickpeas with chorizo ​​in a slow cooker:

1 We prepare the ingredients. We will have the chickpeas to soak the night before or 12 hours.

2 Put the pressure cooker on the heat with a splash of oil, add the chopped onion and garlic, let them cook for a few minutes and add the sliced ​​chorizo.

3 Once we have everything sautéed, add the paprika and stir.

4 We add water to the pot.

5 We add the chickpeas that we have soaked. The water has to cover the chickpeas with chorizo ​​in the pressure cooker.

6 Peel and cut the potatoes into slightly large pieces, since if we put them very small they would come out waste, and we add them.

7 We close the pot. When the steam starts to come out, we leave it for 20 minutes.

8 When everything is cooked, turn off the heat and let cool. We open the lid carefully, taste the salt, and if the chickpea and chorizo ​​broth remains in the pressure cooker it is very light and you like it thicker, we will take some chickpeas and some potatoes with a little broth, grind them and add them. And ready to eat!
