  • 200 grams of Chickpeas
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 1 sprig of Parsley
  • 1 jet of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

1 Before making this chickpea hummus recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.

2 Soak the chickpeas the night before so they can hydrate and, the next day, the preparation of the recipe is much faster. Thus, when preparing the hummus, cook the chickpeas in plenty of water with a little salt over low heat for an hour, covering the pot.

3 Blend the chickpeas with the garlic clove and add the cooking water until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous mixture with a thick consistency.

4 Finally, add the parsley to the chickpea hummus without tahini, a splash of olive oil, the lemon juice and salt, and continue blending for a few more minutes.

5 Serve the delicious chickpea hummus with a drizzle of olive oil. Accompany it with pita bread or your favorite bread.
