Chicken Vol-au-Vents Recipe

Ingredients to make Chicken Volovanes:

  • ½ unit of chicken breast
  • 100 grams of sweet ham
  • 100 grams of Bacon
  • 1 unit of Onion
  • 1 jet of cream
  • 6 units of vol-au-vents
  • 50 grams of feta cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 jet of olive oil

How to make chicken vol-au-vents:

1 To prepare the chicken vol-au-vents, we must gather all the ingredients. You can get vol-au-vents at any supermarket.

2 Fry the chicken breast in a pan with a little oil and add salt and pepper.

3 In another pan, fry the chopped onion. When it is transparent, add the bacon and the sweet ham in small pieces.

4 We shred the chicken breast once it is cooked and add it to the sauce.

5 Add the cream and chopped feta cheese. It is not necessary to add salt since the cheese is quite tasty. Feta cheese is a type of fresh and salty Greek cheese, you can substitute it for any other of these characteristics.

6 Fill the vol-au-vents with the mixture that we have prepared.

7 We can present the chicken vol-au-vents with a simple green salad. Remember that you can also combine them with other volvanes stuffed with prawns and mushrooms, for example, if you want to prepare Christmas appetizers.
