Chicken Macaroni Cake Recipe

Ingredients to make Chicken Macaroni Cake:

  1. 250 grams of macaroni
  2. 1 package of Chicken (whole)
  3. ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  4. 5 units of ripe tomato
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  6. 2 units of white onion
  7. 1 branch of Thyme
  8. 200 milliliters of Cream of milk (1 cup)
  9. 1 teaspoon of fresh Basil
  10. 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Chicken Macaroni Pie:

  • To start making our chicken macaroni cake recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  • In a refractory, previously greased, add our already cooked macaroni, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Separately, bring a pot with a little olive oil over medium heat and sauté the tomatoes and onions cut into shells as shown in the photo. Also add fresh basil, garlic paste, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add water to the fresh tomato sauce until covered. Cook over medium heat for approximately 25-30 minutes. Add the fresh thyme which will give an excellent flavor to the sauce. Turn off the heat and let cool.
  • Brown the chicken breasts with salt, pepper and a little garlic paste. Cover with water once golden and cook for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Crumble the chicken as shown in the photo to be able to make our chicken macaroni cake.
  • Next, blend the tomato sauce until you get a homogeneous mixture. Then add the milk cream to obtain a creamier sauce. Add the shredded chicken and mix.
  • Spread the sauce on top of the macaroni that are in the refractory. Sprinkle the amount of Parmesan cheese you want on top and take our macaroni cake to the oven at about 150º C. for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is gratin.
  • Serve the macaroni cake with chicken and decorate the plate with chives or Cibullet to give it a gourmet touch.
