Chicken Enchiladas in Sauce Recipe

The enchilada is a traditional dish of Mexican cuisine. It basically consists of a corn tortilla wrapped and bathed in a spicy sauce, it can have different fillings and accompaniments. One of the most common are chicken enchiladas, learn how to make them with a quick and easy recipe and surprise your friends with this delicious food with spicy nuances.

Ingredients to make Chicken Enchiladas in Sauce:

• 1 chicken breast

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 unit of Onion

• 1 clove garlic

• 1 jet of oil

• 5 units of Serrano peppers

• Dip

• 8 units of green Tomatillos

• 4 units of Serrano peppers

• 1 bunch of coriander

• ½ unit of Onion

• 1 pinch of Cumin

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 pinch of Garlic

How to make Chicken Enchiladas in Sauce:

First cook the chicken breast with salt, onion and garlic in a pot with water. Leave on the fire until it is cooked, then let cool, drain and shred the chicken. Then fry together with the sliced onion in a pan with a little oil. Cook until the chicken is browned and then set aside.

Separately, heat a few taco shells and when they are hot, spread the chicken in the center forming a thin line. Roll the tortilla into a taco shape and fry it in hot oil. You can hold the taco with a few chopsticks to fry it without problems.

To make the chicken enchilada sauce, cook all the sauce ingredients in boiling water, taking care not to turn the tomatillos yellow. Then take everything to the blender until you get a homogeneous sauce. Correct the seasoning if necessary.

Sauté the sauce with a little oil plus sliced onions for a few minutes. When the sauce has reduced a bit, insert the tacos so that they absorb all the sauce.

To finish these delicious chicken enchiladas, serve on a bed of lettuce and accompany with beans, cream and a refreshing lemon drink like a soda.
