Chicken Calzone Recipe

Ingredients to make Calzone with chicken:

  1. 250 grams of chicken breast
  2. 1 pinch of salt
  3. 1 splash of olive oil
  4. 2 units of tomato
  5. 1 dessert spoon of oregano
  6. 3 slices of cheese

For the mass

  1. 200 milliliters of Water
  2. 400 grams of flour
  3. 1 dessert spoon of salt
  4. 2 tablespoons of olive oil

How to make Chicken Calzone:

  • To prepare the chicken calzone, the first step is to gather all the ingredients.
  • To begin we are going to prepare the dough for the calzone. In a bowl we put the flour and salt, make the shape of a volcano and pour the oil and water in the center. We begin to stir little by little with a wooden spoon and when we can’t take it anymore, we mix with our hands. Once the dough is formed, let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • On the other hand, we brown the chicken in a pan with a little oil and add a little salt.
  • With the help of a rolling pin, stretch and spread the calzone dough on a flat surface. Then, we pass it to the oven tray that we have previously greased.
  • Wash and slice the tomato season it with salt and pepper and place it on the calzone dough.
  • Place the diced chicken on top of the tomato and drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Finally we put the cheese in slices and a little oregano. If you like basil you can also use it.
  • We close the calzone as indicated in the image and paint it with a little olive oil and oregano. We put the chicken calzone in the oven for approximately 20 minutes at 180 ºC until golden.
