How to make Chicken Caesar Salad:
The first step in making this recipe is to pre-list the ingredients for the Caesar salad. If you can’t find romaine lettuce in the supermarket, you can substitute it with green crisp lettuce.
The first things we must do is cut the chicken breast into squares and add some dressings to season it. To give it a special touch, we will add a little onion powder and oregano or thyme.
While the chicken is impregnated with the ingredients that we added, we are going to disinfect the lettuce. To do it, with our hands we cut the lettuce into medium pieces, it is important that we do not cut with a knife since it will rust. Then, we take the lettuce to a bowl and cover with enough water, add a little vinegar or lemon juice and let soak for 10 minutes, in this way we will disinfect the lettuce. Remove from the bowl and let the lettuce drain.
Now we are going to make the fried bread squares. Then, in a pan add the butter and let it melt. Apart, we must take the eggs to a deep pot, cover them with water and bring the pot to medium heat for 10 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked. Remove the eggs and once cold remove the shell.
Add the sliced bread in medium squares as shown in the photo, add a pinch of salt, pepper and a little garlic paste so that the breads take on a little flavor. Once the fried breads take on a golden color, remove them and reserve them on a plate.
Now we are going to cook the chicken breast. To do this, bring a pan to medium heat and add one of the teaspoons of olive oil, when the pan is hot, add the chicken seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Let fry for a few minutes.
In a bowl we are going to mix the different ingredients of the Caesar salad. Thus, we add the lettuce in the background, on top of it the fried bread and the grated egg.
Once the chicken is well sautéed, remove it from the heat and let cool, as this salad should be served cold. Add the chicken once cold to the bowl where we have the rest of the ingredients already mixed. Add the Parmesan cheese on top and mix very well until all the ingredients are well distributed. In a separate bowl we are going to make the dressing, so we add the vinegar, olive oil, lemon and mustard. Mix very well until the ingredients are integrated and dress with it in the salad. Mix well and it will be ready to serve.
