Ingredients to make Chia Cookies:
- 100 grams of wheat flour
- 150 grams of oat flakes
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 unit of Orange
How to make Chia Cookies:
- For these delicious and nutritious chia cookies, the first thing you should do is prepare all the ingredients. Remember that chia is a super food; it contains high amounts of soluble fiber, calcium and antioxidants.
- In a deep plate and with the help of a spoon, mix the oat flakes with the wheat flour.
- Besides, hydrate the chia seeds with 4 tablespoons of water, this will form a thick gel due to the soluble fiber it contains.
- Add the chia gel with all the seeds and the orange juice to the oatmeal and flour mixture. Also add the honey and mix everything with your hands until it is a homogeneous mass.
- Leave the resulting dough in the fridge covered for an hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut circles with a well or pasta cutter. Place the chip cookies on a baking tray and bake them at 170º C. for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes take them out and let them cool.
- Serve and taste these delicious chia cookies, I put a little melted chocolate on them to decorate them a little more.
