Ingredients to make Torrejas de chard:
- 1 bunch of Swiss chard
- 1 white onion chopped
- 2 minced garlic
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 750 milliliters of drinking water
- 125 milliliters of oil
How to make Torrejas de chard:
To start, make sure you have all the necessary ingredients to prepare your chard croquettes. Take note to make it delicious!
Start by taking the chard from the bunch, wash them under running water and, once ready, place them in a saucepan with boiling water. He adds a pinch of salt, lets the Swiss chard soften, and when they’re soft, remove them from the heat, drain the water, and let them cool.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, let it sauté until the onion turns transparent.
