Ingredients to make chard soup:

  • 1 bunch of Swiss chard
  • 2 carrots
  • 100 grams of green beans
  • 1 piece of cabbage
  • 2 leeks
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 vegetable stock cube (optional)

How to make chard soup:

  1. We prepare the ingredients to prepare the chard soup. We wash all the vegetables.
  2. Chop all the vegetables into small pieces.
  3. Put a pot on the fire with a splash of oil, put the chopped leeks and let them brown a little over medium heat.
  4. When the leek is half poached, add the cabbage and let it cook for about 5 minutes with the leek. This will give more flavor to the slimming chard soup.
  5. After this time we add all the vegetables that are cut into small pieces and cover with water. Add a little salt and when it starts to boil add the vegetable stock cube, this will give more flavor to the chard and carrot soup. Let it cook until the vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes.
  6. Instead of covering with water and adding the concentrated stock cube, you can prepare this homemade vegetable stock recipe and add it directly.
  7. When the chard and carrot soup is done, put a little bit of vegetables and broth in a blender glass or bowl, grind it and add it to the soup, to give it more texture and thickness.
