Cava sorbet and fresh strawberries

Ingredients to make Cava sorbet and fresh strawberries:

  • 60 milliliters of Cava or sparkling wine
  • 100 grams of fresh strawberries
  • 4 drops of vanilla essence
  • 81 grams of Strawberry Ice Cream or Sorbet
  • 30 grams of sugar

How to make Cava sorbet and fresh strawberries:

  1. As always, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. To make the original cava and strawberries sorbet we must use cava, a drink similar to the original champagne from the province of Catalonia in Spain. However, if you can’t get hold of this product, any sparkling wine will do.
  3. As for the ice cream, you can use the typical fruit sorbet made with water or a creamy strawberry ice cream.
  4. To begin with, we must wash the strawberries very well. You must remove the upper part, where the leaves are, and chop them a bit, in case they are very large.
  5. Place the strawberries in the blender along with the rest of the ingredients on the list and blend everything together until the ingredients are integrated.
  6. If we use a water ice cream, we should have a frozen type sorbet, while if we use a creamy one we should have a slightly thick mixture.
  7. Finally, we serve the cava sorbet and fresh strawberries in glasses and decorate with fresh strawberries and a splinter of cinnamon.
