Catfish casserole recipe

Ingredients to make catfish casserole:

  • 2 kilograms of catfish fish
  • 1 unit of head onion
  • 1 bunch of laurel and thyme
  • ¾ kilogram of potato
  • ¼ kilogram of butter
  • 1 liter of milk
  • ½ unit of head onion
  • 4 units of cooked or hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup of milk cream (200 milliliters)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 2 units of small tomatoes
  • 1 stick of parmesan cheese

How to make catfish casserole:

  1. The potatoes are cooked already peeled and cut into helles with the 1/2 onion, the tomato.
  2. Salt and pepper, butter and water; then when they are cooked, add the milk and leave them to cook over slow fire until they dry a little.
  3. The sauce of the casserole is prepared in a pot placing tomato, onion, bay leaf and thyme, salt and pepper, and butter, it is cooked and when it is blended.
  4. Then the sauce is placed in a pan and the fish is cooked there, boneless and skinless, over slow fire for 30 minutes, avoiding it from unriding, and ready it is distributed in the casseroles alternating with the potatoes and the cooked eggs cut in hells, above milk cream and parmesan cheese added and gratinated in the oven, serve immediately.
