Carrot cream with ginger is an excellent option for a light dinner. Carrots are rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, they also have a low caloric intake and have antioxidant properties. On the other hand, ginger is a very beneficial food that calms nausea during pregnancy.

Ingredients to make Carrot Cream with Ginger:

  • 6 units of Carrot
  • ½ unit of Onion
  • ½ unit of Leek
  • ½ unit of Orange
  • 600 milliliters of Water (2½ cups)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 jet of olive oil

How to make Carrot Cream with Ginger:

  1. We gather all the ingredients to prepare the carrot cream with ginger.
  2. Chop the peeled vegetables and fry them in a pot with olive oil. Add salt and let cook for 5 minutes
  3. Add the ginger and water. Season with salt and cook until the carrots are tender.
  4. Tip: Remember that you have to peel the ginger root before adding it to the pot.
  5. Add the juice of half and orange and a piece of its skin. We cook 5 more minutes.
  6. Remove the orange peel and beat the carrot cream with ginger until there are no lumps.
