We will show you, on this occasion, how to make a delicious capers salad, a dish of Italian origin, more specifically from the Capri area. If we have to describe this salad we can only talk about its virtues, it is very easy to prepare, it is fresh, colorful, and perfect for the summer season, super healthy and above all delicious.

Ingredients to make Capers Salad:

  • 2 units of Tomatoes
  • 150 grams of Mozzarella
  • 20 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

How to make Capers Salad:

To make these capers salad we must prepare all the ingredients. For this Italian salad I advise you to choose puritan tomatoes because they do not expel as much juice. Cut the tomatoes into slices, neither too thin nor too thick, and reserve. We take the mozzarella cheese and cut it into slices similar to those of the tomato.

On the other hand, to season this exquisite capers salad, we make a preparation with some chopped fresh basil leaves, extra virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Another totally valid option is to season the salad with homemade pesto sauce.

Finally, for the presentation of the salad, we take a plate or a flat dish and we arrange the ingredients by interspersing a slice of tomato, a slice of mozzarella, a fresh basil leaf and so on. Season with the preparation made previously and sprinkle with a touch of freshly ground peppercorns to complete the decoration of this delicious and irresistible capers salad. This salad can be consumed alone as a starter, but it is also ideal to accompany any type of roast meat.
