Ingredients to make Canapé of bonito with piquillo pepper:
For 4 people:
- 8 slices of sliced bread
- 200 grams of marinated tuna
- 16 piquillo peppers
- 4 boiled eggs
- 6 tablespoons of fried tomato
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
How to make Canapé of bonito with piquillo pepper:
Toast the slices of bread and reserve. Cook the eggs in boiling water with salt and a pinch of vinegar for 10 minutes. Once cooked, refresh them under cold running water and peel them. On a plate, mix the drained bonito from the marinade, the fried tomato and the mayonnaise together with some boiled egg yolks, mixing with a fork until you get a smooth paste.
We spread one side of the slice of toast with mayonnaise and tomato sauce and place some piquillo peppers open and without seeds and some uniform slices of boiled egg. Place the other slice of toasted bread on top and carefully cut the edges of the canapé with a serrated knife.
Once the edges are cut, place the tuna mixture on top, decorate with a few strips of piquillo pepper and grated boiled egg. Store in a refrigerated area until serving time.
