Cake recipe with peanut butter

Ingredients to make Peanut Butter Cake:

  1. 1½ cups of wheat flour (210 grams)
  2. 1 cup of sugar (200 grams)
  3. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 1 pinch of salt
  5. 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
  6. 1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
  7. 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  8. 5 tablespoons of oil
  9. 1 piece of guava sweet

How to make Peanut Butter Cake:

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
  • Make 2 holes in the flour and pour the vinegar in one of them and the oil in the other. Pour the water on top and mix with a manual rod whisk until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Add the peanut butter and mix again.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a rectangular mold or cover it with baking paper and pour the peanut butter cake batter inside.
  • Cut the guava candy into cubes and place them on top of the peanut butter cake batter.
  • Trick: You can replace the guava candy with some peanuts to further accentuate the flavor or some pieces of dark chocolate that combine very well.
  • Bake the peanut butter pound cake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Cut the sponge cake with peanut butter into portions and serve it with a tea or coffee.
