Ingredients to make Peanut Butter Cake:
- 1½ cups of wheat flour (210 grams)
- 1 cup of sugar (200 grams)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 5 tablespoons of oil
- 1 piece of guava sweet
How to make Peanut Butter Cake:
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
- Make 2 holes in the flour and pour the vinegar in one of them and the oil in the other. Pour the water on top and mix with a manual rod whisk until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Add the peanut butter and mix again.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a rectangular mold or cover it with baking paper and pour the peanut butter cake batter inside.
- Cut the guava candy into cubes and place them on top of the peanut butter cake batter.
- Trick: You can replace the guava candy with some peanuts to further accentuate the flavor or some pieces of dark chocolate that combine very well.
- Bake the peanut butter pound cake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cut the sponge cake with peanut butter into portions and serve it with a tea or coffee.
