Cake recipe with chocolate chips in Thermo mix

Ingredients to make sponge cake with chocolate chips in Thermo mix:

  1. 80g sunflower oil
  2. 1 lemon (skin only)
  3. 150g of sugar
  4. 3 eggs
  5. 200g of flour
  6. 1 yogurt
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 tablespoon chemical yeast
  9. 4 ounces of dessert chocolate
  10. Chocolate chips, nuggets or drops

How to make Chocolate Chip Cake in Thermo mix:

  • Prepare the ingredients and turn on the Thermo mix.
  • We put the ounces of chocolate in a saucepan to melt in a bain-marie.
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC. We put the skin of the lemon in the Thermo mix and the sugar (10 seconds at speed 10). Add the 3 eggs (30 seconds at speed 3). We put the flour, the yogurt, the oil, 1 pinch of salt (1 minute at speed 5). We put the yeast (15 seconds at speed 5).
  • Prepare the mold, line it with parchment paper and add half of the cake mixture with drops of chocolate in Thermo mix
  • Mix the other half of the dough with the melted chocolate in a bain-marie.
  • First, put the white cake and the chocolate cake on top, then put a few chocolate chips and put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 ºC.
  • Remove the chocolate cake with chocolate chips in Thermo mixand let it cool on a wire rack and eat.
