Ingredients to make Caesar Salad with tuna:

  • ½ lettuce
  • 50 grams of Turkey cooked in cubes
  • 1 package of cheese cubes
  • 1 packet of Croutons
  • 2 cans of prickly pear in oil
  • 50 grams of bacon strips
  • Cesar dressing

How to make Tuna Caesar Salad:

The first step to make our tuna Caesar will be to fry the bacon. You can buy it whole or in cubes, in case you buy it whole or sliced you should chop it finely.

Sauté until crispy, you do not need to add oil as the bacon will release its own fat. When ready, remove to a plate lined with absorbent paper.

On the other hand, wash the lettuce very well and chop the leaves by hand. Ideally, we should have relatively small pieces left to make it easier to eat the salad. Place this in a bowl or salad bowl; also add the bacon and mix.

Next, open the two cans of tuna, drain all the oil well and add it to the salad bowl with the lettuce. Mix everything well again. If you want, you can also use raw tuna.

We also add the cooked turkey, the cheese and the croutons. You can change the turkey for cooked ham, which also goes perfectly in this original version of Caesar salad.

Remember that the amount of each ingredient is a little to taste, you can add more or less than you prefer.

To finish, it’s time to dress the salad, for this you can use the typical Caesar sauce that you get in supermarkets or make it yourself. The Caesar salad with tuna is a fresh salad, ideal for any occasion because you can combine it with all kinds of dishes.
