Bucatinis Recipe with Poppy seed, Cream and Plum Compote

Ingredients to make Bucatinis with poppy seeds, cream and plum compote:

  1. 300 g of bucatini
  2. 70g butter,
  3. 60g of ground poppy seeds. Shapes such as tagliatelle or spaghetti can be made with poppy seeds. But also with bucatinis or macaroni, especially delicious flavors are achieved.
  4. 200g of cream,
  5. 40g plum compote,
  6. 1 tablespoon lemon, julienned,
  7. some lemon balm leaves

How to make Bucatinis with poppy seed, cream and plum compote:

  • Cook the bucatinis in salted water, “al dente”.
  • Strain and let them drain.
  • Heat the butter in a pan and add the poppy seeds.
  • Mix and keep warm.
  • Whip the cream and add the paste to the butter with the poppy.
  • Mix well with a wooden spoon and distribute among 4 plates.
  • Present with the lemon julienne and lemon balm.
