On this occasion I bring you to share some fried sardines in batter, a fish that cannot be missing from our diet because of its nutrients and above all, because of the omega 3 it contains and how essential it is for our body.
Now in summer fried sardines with garlic and parsley are widely consumed, it is already a good time to consume them as tapas or starters in beach bars. This time I have prepared them the way you like them at home: I marinate the sardines with a bit of garlic and parsley oil and then fry them. I have also cleaned them of thorns because that way it is easier to eat them, and for children too.
Ingredients to make Breaded Fried Sardines:
- 1 kilogram of Sardines
- 1 package of Flour to coat fish
- 100 milliliters of olive oil
- 3 units of Garlic
- 1 handful of Parsley
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Battered Fried Sardines:
- We will start preparing this recipe for fried sardines in batter by cleaning the fish: for them, we will remove the heads and guts, clean them of scales, open them in half and remove the central spine and the one on the sides of all the sardines. We dry them well.
- Once all clean, we are placing the sardines on a plate.
- In a bowl or a blender glass, place the 100 ml of olive oil, the 3 garlic cloves and the parsley.
- With the blender we will crush all these ingredients well. This way the battered sardines without eggs will be much tastier.
- With a kitchen brush, we will spread the sardines with this oil. We can let the sardine fillets marinated with this mixture rest for a while in the fridge so that they take on even more flavor if we prefer.
- On the other hand, we put the flour in a bowl, and we put a pan with plenty of oil to heat.
- We pass the marinated sardines through the flour.
- When the oil in the pan is hot, we will fry the sardines in batter in batches
- We will have a plate with kitchen paper prepared and we will put the battered sardines without eggs on top so that they drain the oil as they are ready.
- We will put the fried sardines in batter on a platter and accompany them with a Greek salad, for example. Let’s eat!
