Bread recipe without carbohydrates

If you are on a low-carb diet, this carb-free bread will be ideal for you, since it does not contain any hydrates. The result is a type of keto bread that is also called cloud bread because of how light it is, similar to a pancake. Soft and fluffy bread that only needs 3 ingredients, ideal for many diets, gluten-free, carbohydrate-free and without any flour. Likewise, in order for them to keep well, they must be in the fridge, since they contain eggs and cream cheese and can spoil immediately.

Ingredients to make Bread without carbohydrates:

  1. 2 eggs
  2. 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  3. 1 cube of chemical yeast
  4. 1 pinch of salt

How to make Carb Free Bread:

  • To start with the recipe for bread without carbohydrates, you must first put the oven at 160 ºC with heat above and below. Then, in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese.
  • Add the bowl with the cream cheese in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds, being careful not to burn it. It should be melted, but not too hot. Let cool at room temperature and reserve.
  • Separate the eggs, place the whites in one bowl and the yolks in another.
  • Take the bowl of whites; add the salt and chemical yeast. Next, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Mix the egg yolks well with the cheese until the two ingredients are well integrated.
  • Little by little add the mixture of the yolks and cheese to the mixture of the whipped whites. You must do it little by little and moving carefully so that the whites do not fall.
  • Line a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper and place tablespoons of dough in a circular shape about 10 cm wide and with a little separation. With these quantities, about 8 disks of low-calorie bread will come out, so you must prepare in two batches of four. Next, put the tray in the oven and leave it until you see that the breads are golden, it will take about 10-15 minutes depending on the oven.
  • When you see that the breads are golden, remove and let cool. You should know that they are like egg pancakes, at first they are swollen and then they fall down. However, if you want them thicker you should add more dough. When they are cold, keep them in the fridge.
  • Ready to eat!
