Bone Marrow Tacos Recipe

Ingredients to make Bone Marrow Tacos:

• 1 kilogram of beef marrow bone in canoe

• 4 finely minced garlic cloves

• 2 tablespoons of olive oil

• 1 pinch of dried parsley

• 1 piece of dried oregano

• 1 pinch of grain salt

To accompany

• Corn tortillas

• Refried beans

• Chopped cilantro

• Avocado

• Sauce to taste

How to make Bone Marrow Tacos:

To prepare the marrow tacos, choose the cooking method you want to use. We will show you the charcoal method. If you choose to cook them in the oven, preheat your oven to 180 °C, if you choose to cook it in the pan, prepare your pan over a very low heat so that it heats up.

In a bowl mix the minced garlic cloves , the olive oil, a pinch of dried parsley, a pinch of oregano and grain salt, you can substitute the olive oil for melted butter.

Take the marrow bones and varnish with the mixture of garlic and spices. Then, place them on the grill and let them cook for 20 to 25 minutes. If you use a pan, cover them and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, if you use an oven, bake for 20 minutes. When they are ready, let them rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, heat your tortillas, you can use white corn tortillas, although we recommend using freshly made blue corn tortillas.

Now it only remains to assemble the marrow block. Take a tortilla, spread some refried beans and, with a teaspoon, empty the marrow over the tortilla, add chopped cilantro, a few slices of avocado and a touch of green sauce or the one of your choice. It’s ready, eat!
