Ingredients to make Rice Bolognese:
- 1 cup of rice
- 200 grams of ground beef
- 3 units of red tomatoes
- 1 unit of white onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
- 1 pinch of garlic powder
- 30 milliliters of sunflower oil
How to make Rice Bolognese:
- Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
- In a bowl add the ground meat and season with the soy sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper, mix very well.
- In a pot with oil, fry the finely chopped onion and the macerated garlic. Cook until the onion is soft, season with salt and pepper.
- Add the ground meat and cook over high heat for 5 minutes, after this time add the rice and mix everything very well.
- Pass the tomatoes through boiling water (making a cross at the bottom) for 5 minutes.
- When they are ready, drain the water and peel the tomatoes more easily, blend them until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Add the tomato juice to the pot and cook until it boils. Add a pinch of sugar to level the acidity of the tomato.
- Add two cups of water and when it boils, rectify the taste with a pinch of salt. When the water evaporates, cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
- It is time to serve the Bolognese rice, if you wish, sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese, accompany it with a fresh cabbage and carrot salad.
