Blue Cheese Risotto Recipe

Ingredients to make Blue Cheese Risotto:

  • 3 teaspoons of Butter
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 50 grams of bacon or bacon
  • 300 grams of Arborio rice
  • 1 liter of chicken broth
  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Milk cream

  2. We must bear in mind that risotto is a preparation that contains caloric ingredients.
  3. Bring a deep pot over medium heat with a little olive oil and one of the teaspoons of butter. Sauté the white onion cut into small squares.
  4. Add the very fine bacon as seen in the photograph. Sauté these ingredients for a few minutes.
  5. Add the rice and stir with the help of a spoon so that it is soaked in the fat from the preparation until the grains begin to become transparent.
  6. Add the chicken broth and if you want a little milk cream so that our preparation is creamy.
  7. While the rice is cooking over medium heat, stir with the help of a spoon to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  8. Cook the rice for 20 minutes over medium heat or until you notice that the rice is creamy.
  9. Add salt, black pepper to taste and white wine. Let it simmer for about 5 more minutes.
