Ingredients to make Beer Bread:

  • 220 grams of wheat flour
  • 100 milliliters of black beer
  • 2 grams of salt
  • 25 milliliters of olive oil
  • 20 grams of poppy seeds
  • 1 unit of Egg
  • 10 grams of fresh yeast

How to make Beer Bread:

  1. With the dry ingredients make a volcano and in the center place the liquid ingredients together with the yeast. Knead until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
  2. Let the dough rise until it doubles its initial size. To do this, leave it to rest in a cool place for about two hours.
  3. Press the dough so that the gases generated in the leavening come out. Next, stretch forming dough cylinders and cut into equal portions.
  4. Shape buns with each piece of doughand place them in a baking pan, previously lined with baking paper. Brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle the poppy seeds over them.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C. Let cool and serve the delicious freshly made beer bread.
