Beef Leg Tostadas Recipe

Within Mexican food, you cannot miss tostadas, they are fried or baked tortillas, to which a layer of ground beans or cream is put, a stew of our choice, which we can season with sauce to taste.

This time we will prepare beef leg toasts, which come in handy for celebrations such as September or any other celebration.

Ingredients to make Beef Leg Tostadas:

  • 1 kilogram of cooked and chopped beef leg
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 100 grams of salt
  • 250 grams of onion
  • 250 milliliters of white vinegar
  • 1 can of chilies in vinegar
  • 1 piece of Romaine lettuce
  • 1 package of Toast
  • 500 milliliters of cow cream
  • 500 grams of grated cheese

How to make Beef Leg Tostadas:

1 We put together all the ingredients to prepare the Mexican tostadas.

2 Wash and drain the beef leg. If there are large pieces of leg, we chop them.

3 In a container we empty it, we add the filleted onion, the vinegar, water, salt and oregano and the vinegar of the pickled chilies. We let macerate.

4 While the beef leg is macerating, we wash and disinfect the lettuce, drain and slice it. We will add it later. Almost to serve.

5 To prepare the Mexican toast, we are going to spread a toast with cow cream and cover it with the prepared beef leg. Sprinkle grated cheese and sauce to taste. We serve it alone or as a companion to a red pozole.
