Beef and bacon sushi recipe

Today we are going with a dish that surely many of you have thought about doing but you have not dared: meat sushi. A culinary madness? No, this beef sushi roll is pure delight, which is the piece that we have chosen for the dinner that we propose. You will be thinking that it is not easy to make sushi that you do not have the ingredients, that you do not get the point of rice…

These are all excuses because with this step-by-step recipe for meat sushi with bacon, you will be a true sushi samurai.

Ingredients to make Beef and Bacon Sushi:

  • ½ cup of rice for sushi
  • 1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
  • 60 milliliters of rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 dessert spoons of salt
  • 2 sheets of nor seaweed
  • For the sushi filling
  • 2 units of beef fillets
  • 2 slices of Bacon

How to make Beef and Bacon Sushi:

  1. Before starting with the elaboration of this particular sushi recipe with meat and bacon for dinner, we list before us the ingredients that we are going to need.
  2. The first step will be to cook the sushi rice.
  3. First of all, wash the rice well in cold water in a bowl. We did 5 water changes until we got it clean. It’s heavy but worth it.
  4. Drain the rice well and pour it over a casserole or pot, the important thing is that it has a lid.
  5. We cover it with twice as much water as rice and leave it on the fire for 13 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 10 minutes covered. At no time uncover.
  6. We already prepare the seasoning for the meat and bacon sushi that we are going to make for dinner: to do this, mix the rice vinegar with the sugar and salt.
  7.  They have to be well dissolved.
  8. While we let the rice temper, cut the meat into strips and salt it.
  9. We put the rice in a new container, to help it cool better, and season it with the rice vinegar seasoning. We let it cool down again.
  10. In this imps, we mark the meat in a frying pan or griddle.
  11. Tip: You can fry the bacon too if you want or leave it raw.
  12. At this point the rice will have the optimum temperature: neither too cold nor too hot.
