Beans with Reins Recipe

  1. 1 cup of white beans
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 cup pumpkin
  4. 100 grams of tagliatelle
  5. 2 cloves of garlic
  6. 1 sachet of vegetable broth
  7. 1 teaspoon paprika
  8. 1 teaspoon cumin
  9. 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Beans with Reins:

  •  Prepare the legumes by letting them soak in water for a day before cooking. Strain the beans and wash them under running water. Bring them to a boil in a large pot with approximately 3 liters of water.
  •  Cut the onion into cubes and fry it with a little salt and cumin, stirring constantly.
  •  Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and pour it into the pot along with the onion and beans. Add salt, cumin, chopped garlic, pepper, paprika and vegetable broth. Stir well and cook for an hour over medium heat, or until the beans are soft.
  •  When the beans are soft, take the noodles and cut them into 3 parts with your hands before adding them to the pot. Let the broth cook for 10 minutes over low heat or until you see that the noodles are already done.
