Beans in Red Wine Recipe

Ingredients to make Red Wine Beans:

  1. For 4 people:
  2. 200 g of beans.
  3. 1 onion.
  4. 2 cloves (very fragrant spice).
  5. 200 g of meat for stew.
  6. 20g of butter.
  7. 15g of flour.
  8. 1 glass of red wine.
  9. 1 glass of water.

How to make Red Wine Beans:

  • Soak the beans the night before.
  • Thread the cloves into the onion and dice the meat.
  • Toast the flour in the butter as if we were going to make a béchamel sauce.
  • Add the meat to the mixture of flour and butter, 1 glass of wine and 1 glass of water.
  • Add the onion with the two cloves and let it cook for half an hour.
  • When the sauce is thick, add the beans with the soaking water and cook for 2 hours.
  • In this recipe, if we make it in a pressure cooker, ½ hour of cooking the beans is more than enough.
