Bean stew with meat recipe

This time we are going to make a stew with red beans, to which we will add a little ground meat to give the recipe a touch of flavor and texture. Let’s see the step by step that we show you and prepare with us this incredible stew of beans with meat.

Ingredients to make stew of beans with meat:

  • 400 grams of red beans soaked from the night before
  • 2 units of white onion
  • 1 unit of Carrot
  • 10 grams of fresh parsley
  • 2 units of bell pepper or red paprika
  • 5 grams of Laurel
  • 5 grams of Thyme
  • 300 grams of ground beef
  • 1 liter of beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tomato unit

How to make Bean stew with meat:

  1. The first step to make the bean stew is to pre-list the ingredients of the recipe.
  2. Remove the water where you soaked the red beans and add them to a pressure or express cooker with salt, pepper, a little bay leaf and dried thyme. Cook the beans for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. Chop the white onion to be able to make the sauce based on the recipe.
  4. Chop the bell pepper or red pepper.
  5. Chop the tomato, it is important that you remove the seeds and discard them.
  6. Bring a pan to medium heat and add a little sunflower oil. Once hot, add the vegetables to make the sauce based on the recipe.
  7. Add a little garlic paste and, if you wish, bay leaves and thyme to taste.
  8. On one side of the pan, add the ground meat and mix very well with the previous sauce.
  9. Cover the meat with a little of the meat broth that we have reserved and cook over low heat.
  10. Remove the air inside the pressure cooker and add the chopped carrot and the remaining beef broth, re-cover the pressure cooker and cook for a further 20-30 minutes or until the beans are soft.
  11. Once the beans are at the desired cooking point, mix with the base sauce and the meat that we added to it, stir very well until all the ingredients are integrated.
  12. We must liquefy the leftover broth where we cook the beans with the carrot and add it to the pot where we have the stew.
  13. Serve the stew of beans with meat sprinkling fresh coriander (optional) and parsley on top, it is ideal to accompany with white rice.
