Bean Enchiladas Recipe

Whether you like Mexican food or not, you have surely heard about enchiladas. This emblematic dish of Mexican gastronomy consists of a soft corn tortilla, stuffed with a variety of foods and bathed in a generally spicy sauce made from chili peppers. Go ahead and follow the step by step of this recipe that we present to you today: bean enchiladas.

Ingredients to make Bean Enchiladas:

  • 1 unit of Onion
  • 1 unit of Tomato
  • 1 unit of chili
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 can of canned beans
  • 1 unit of lettuce
  • 2 units of flour tortilla
  • 4 slices of cheese

How to make Bean Enchiladas:

1 List all the ingredients.

2 Blend the beans with their liquid in the blender until you get a creamy paste.

3 In a pan with very hot oil, add the bean paste and fry for about 5 minutes, then lower the heat to medium and let the sauce thicken.

4 Chop the onion into very fine squares and the seedless tomato into squares, add a little lemon salt and chili to taste.

5 Heat the tortillas on a griddle, place a slice of cheese and when the cheese melts cover with the bean sauce.

6 Place a line of lettuce, onion and tomato in the center along with a little grated cheese and close.

7 Serve the bean enchiladas freshly made and enjoy with more bean sauce.
