Ingredients to make Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce:
- For 4 people:
- 225 grams bean curd
- 113 gr., of fresh mushrooms
- 6 spring onions
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 red or green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 125ml of water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 4 teaspoons dry sherry
- 4 teaspoons of soy sauce.
How to make Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce:
- Cut the curd into 1.5 cm cubes. Thick.
- Clean and cut the mushrooms into slices.
- Cut the onions into 2.5 cm pieces.
- Cut the celery into 1.5 cm diagonal pieces. Wide.
- Cut the pepper into 1.5 cm pieces.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil and fry the bean curd until golden brown.
- Take out of the oil.
- Heat the other tablespoon of oil and add the mushrooms, spring onions and pepper, stir and fry for a minute.
- Add the curd.
- Mix the cornstarch with the oyster sauce and the sherry and put it in the pan with the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix well for a minute or two more and serve.
