Bean Curd Recipe with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients to make Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce:

  • For 4 people:
  • 225 grams bean curd
  • 113 gr., of fresh mushrooms
  • 6 spring onions
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 1 red or green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 125ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 4 teaspoons dry sherry
  • 4 teaspoons of soy sauce.

How to make Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce:

  1. Cut the curd into 1.5 cm cubes. Thick.
  2. Clean and cut the mushrooms into slices.
  3. Cut the onions into 2.5 cm pieces.
  4. Cut the celery into 1.5 cm diagonal pieces. Wide.
  5. Cut the pepper into 1.5 cm pieces.
  6. Heat a tablespoon of oil and fry the bean curd until golden brown.
  7. Take out of the oil.
  8. Heat the other tablespoon of oil and add the mushrooms, spring onions and pepper, stir and fry for a minute.
  9. Add the curd.
  10. Mix the cornstarch with the oyster sauce and the sherry and put it in the pan with the rest of the ingredients.
  11. Mix well for a minute or two more and serve.
