Ingredients to make cream of beans:

  • 1 can of cooked beans
  • 80 grams of leek
  • 1 stick of celery
  • 100 grams of carrot
  • 170 grams of onion
  • 200 grams of potato
  • 1 glass of wine
  • 3 glasses of water
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • For the garnish:
  • 1 chubby garlic clove
  • 130 grams of shrimp
  • a pinch of salt
  • Parsley
  • 80 grams of bacon
  • 75 grams of green pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 handful of fresh mushrooms

How to make cream of beans:

  1. Chop and begin to fry the onion, carrot, celery stick and leek in a saucepan with a few tablespoons of oil.
  2. Add the potato cut into small cubes.
  3. Add a tablespoon of sweet paprika and half a glass of wine.
  4. Add the drained beans.
  5. Cover with water. Season with salt and pepper and cook the cream of beans with vegetables over medium-high heat until the potato is tender.
  6. Sauté the bacon in a frying pan with a splash of oil.
  7. Add the chopped green pepper and stir a bit.
  8. Add the mushrooms and the filleted garlic cloves.
  9. Add the chopped prawn bodies, chopped parsley and a pinch of salt.
  10. Let the white bean cream garnish fry until we see that the prawns have changed color and the mushrooms too. We booked.
  11. Once the tender potato and carrot are ready, we grind everything.
  12. We add the garnish on top of the bean cream and that’s it. As a main dish you can prepare an ossobuco in a quick pot for example and for dessert an easy rice pudding.
