Basil Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients to make Basil Shrimp:

  • 600 g of clean shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 50cc of olive oil
  • 4 shallots, chopped
  • 100cc of dry white wine
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 100cc of fish broth
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil
  • Salt
  • pepper to taste

How to make Basil Shrimp:

  1. Flour shrimp, shaking to remove excess.
  2. In a skillet place the oil over moderate heat.
  3. When the oil is hot, add the shrimp and salt and pepper, sauté for a few moments.

  11. Serve sprinkled with fresh basil.
