Ingredients to make Banana Ceviche:

  • 2 units of medium avocados
  • 1 unit of green banana
  • 4 units of Lemons
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 2 units of Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of fruit vinegar
  • 1 cup of coconut cream
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Banana Ceviche:

1 The first step to make this vegan recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. The idea is that the green banana is large, but if you don’t have it you can use several medium ones. If you are not vegan, you can substitute cream cheese for coconut cream.

2 The first thing we are going to do is peel the green banana and cut it into medium squares as shown in the photograph. Then, transfer the pieces to a deep pot and cook until soft. Remove from the water and set aside to cool down.

3 In a bowl or bowl add the previously cooked bananas, the finely chopped white onion, the diced tomatoes and the parsley. Mix all the ingredients very well to continue with the preparation of the vegan ceviche.

4 Add salt, black pepper, fruit vinegar, lemon juice and parsley, ideally the ingredients are macerated in the same way as in a traditional ceviche.

5 Once the ingredients of our banana ceviche are macerated, add the coconut cream to give a touch of creaminess to the preparation. Remember that if you are a vegetarian you can choose to use cream cheese. Mix the ingredients very well.

Tip: If you want and you like it spicy, you can add a little.

6 Open the avocados and remove the bone from the center, fill each of the avocados with the banana ceviche and sprinkle a little parsley on top. You can accompany this starter with smoked tofu or a vegan salad.
