Ingredients to make Baked Tuna Pie:

  • 2 cans of Tuna in water
  • 2 pieces of Egg
  • 1 piece of Pumpkin
  • 2 pieces of red tomato
  • ½ tablespoon of oregano
  • 100 grams of grated cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Baked Tuna Pie:

  1. In the following image you can see the ingredients that we will need to prepare this exquisite baked tuna cake.
  2. To start, thinly slice the pumpkin and finely chop the red tomato into small cubes of approximately half a centimeter on each side.
  3. Now with a little spray oil we spray our mold to bake the simple tuna cake, and once ready we place some pumpkin slices on the base and on this, we spread half of the chopped red tomato.
  4. Now we take the tuna, previously drained, and spread it a little over the chopped red tomato. Once this is done, we take one of the eggs, which must be perfectly beaten, and spread them over the tuna cake easily and quickly.
  5. We repeat over the egg with a layer of pumpkin and chopped red tomato, and followed by tuna again and the second beaten egg.
  6. Once the second full layer of the baked tuna cake is complete, we spread a little oregano and the grated cheese.
  7. Now we cover our mold with aluminum foil and take the tuna cake to bake for 30 minutes at 200°C. After this time we remove the aluminum foil and bake it gratin for 5 more minutes in the oven.
