Baked tuna dumplings recipe

I propose a very simple recipe to prepare some homemade baked tuna dumplings that I share. In a short time we can prepare them and we can even have the filling prepared in advance and thus make the empanadillas in the oven when we go to eat them. We can eat them hot or cold, but warm they are very good.

These homemade tuna dumplings are ideal for an appetizer or to accompany a meal, and you can put the filling that you like the most, today I bring them with tuna and egg.

Ingredients to make baked tuna dumplings:

  • 1 package of dumpling wafers
  • 2 units of hard boiled eggs
  • 4 units of cans of tuna
  • 1 can of fried tomato

To paint the dough:

  • 1 unit of Egg (or milk)

How to make baked tuna dumplings:

In a bowl, put all the ingredients for the baked tuna empanadilla. Then we chop the two hard- boiled eggs, put the cans of tuna and mix it with the fried tomato, until there is a filling to our liking.

Trick: We will drain the oil from the tuna, so that the filling does not remain too greasy.

Next, we prepare the homemade tuna empanadillas, for this we are putting a little filling in each wafer or dough for baked empanadillas. Once they are filled, we close and seal well around the tuna dumplings. We can simply do it with the help of a fork.

Then we put the dumplings on a baking tray, paint them with a brush with the beaten egg  or a little milk. Next, we introduce the empanadillas to the oven at 180ºC of temperature until they are golden brown.

Once browned, the homemade baked tuna empanadillas will be ready to serve! What are they simple? Well, they are great!
