Baked scallops with béchamel recipe

Ingredients to make baked scallops with béchamel:

  • 300 grams of Scallops of the size you want
  • 200 grams of Prawns
  • 150 grams of béchamel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of breadcrumb
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 50 grams of Onion leek
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons of Parmesan cheese

How to make Baked Scallops with béchamel:

  1. In order to start making the recipe with seafood you must prelist the ingredients.
  2. If you get the scallop shells, keep them for a more elegant and original plating.
  3. Bring a skillet to medium heat and add the butter.
  4. Once this is melted, add the finely chopped leek onionalong with the scallops, the cleaned prawns, salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste.
  5. Sauté the whole for approximately three minutes.
  6. Remove from the fire and let cool.
  7. Add the previously prepared soffit in the clean shells of the scallops or in individual baking molds, previously greased.
  8. Add the breadcrumb and fresh parsley to each of the refractories.
  9. Mix the ingredients well.
  10. Separately, mix the béchamel sauce with the white wineand bathe each of the refractories with this mixture as shown in the photograph.
  11. Then, add a teaspoon of Parmesan cheese on the surface.
  12. If you want to make the white sauce yourself, you can follow the step-by-step recipe for the traditional béchamel sauce or the béchamel sauce without butter.
  13. Preheat an oven to 180ºC.
  14. And gratin for about 10 minutes or until the Parmesan cheese browns, remember not to cook it too much so that the seafood does not overcook.
  15. Remove each of the baked scallops with béchamel sauceand enjoy. This dish is ideal as an appetizer.
