A fun and delicious pasta dish, ideal for the little ones at home. Present the usual macaroni and tomato but in a different and original way. With this recipe you will learn how to make baked pasta with tomato sauce and au gratin with lots of cheese. An easy and quick meal that will undoubtedly be liked by adults and children.
Ingredients to make Baked Pasta:
- 1 package of short pasta
- 1 cup of cream or milk cream
- 2 units of Egg
- ½ kilogram of mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 cup of tomato sauce
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Baked Pasta:
- First cook the pasta normally as you always do. Apart, beat the eggs in a container with a little cheese. Also heat the olive oil, add the tomato sauce, add salt, pepper and sugar to taste and cook until hot. And heat the whipping cream and reserve.
- Pour the eggs and cheese into the cream, then grease a refractory mold and put a layer of pasta, then add a little whipping cream, a little tomato sauce and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese. Continue with these layers until you have no more paste. Finish with a thick layer of cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and put in the oven at 350ºF for 20 minutes, then remove the aluminum foil and cook for 15 more minutes. The temperature is equivalent to about 70º Celsius.
- Allow 5 to 10 minutes to cool and serve this delicious baked pasta as a main course for dinner or accompany it with a Caesar salad. Also substitute the basic tomato sauce for a Bolognese sauce to add some meat to your dish.
