Baked Macaroni and Cheese Ingredients:

  1. 200 grams of Macaroni
  2. 1 tablespoon butter
  3. 150 milliliters of Milk
  4. 150 grams of grated cheddar cheese
  5. 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
  6. 1 sheet of sweet corn
  7. 50 grams of Bacon in cubes

How to make Baked Macaroni and Cheese:

  • Once you have all the ingredients ready and heavy we start cooking the pasta. To do this, cook the macaroni in boiling water with a pinch of salt until al dente. Drain and reserve.
  • Meanwhile, we can prepare the cheese sauce. Then heat a frying pan and melt the butter over low heat. Then add the milk and cheddar cheese, stirring and mixing until you get a slightly thick sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and add more milk if you see that it is very thick or wheat flour if, on the contrary, it feels very liquid.
  • Now, place the macaroni in the pan or the sauce in the pasta pot, whichever is more comfortable for you, and add the can of corn, previously drained and the chopped bacon. Stir everything together until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • To finish our plate of macaroni and cheese, place them in a baking dish and finish with a layer of extra cheese, especially for gratin. Gratin for a couple of minutes and that’s it.
  • These baked macaroni and cheese are perfect to prepare on the weekend, when we eat with the family and need a dish that pays off and that adults and children will like.
