Ingredients to make Baked Ham and Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms:
- 1 tray of large mushrooms (11-12 pieces)
- 120 grams of Serrano ham in cubes
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 1 onion
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 slices of cheese
How to make Baked Ham and Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms:
Wash and peel the mushrooms and remove the stems with a coffee spoon (do not throw them away). Chop the ham, garlic and onion into small squares, and do the same with the stems of the mushrooms to use them.
Brush the mushrooms with olive oil and place them in a baking dish. Set aside a moment while you prepare the mushroom filling.
To make the mushrooms stuffed with ham and cream cheese, sauté the onion until soft, add the stems of the mushrooms and the garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste and when the ingredients are almost cooked, add the ham, the Philadelphia-type cheese and stir non-stop.
Fill each mushroom with the previous mixture, add pepper and sliced grated cheese cut to taste. Then, bake the stuffed mushrooms for 15 minutes at 190°C. You can sprinkle them with a splash of white wine if you want to give it an extra touch of flavor.
Clever! Serve the Baked Ham and Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetizer or as an accompaniment to any meat, fish, or salad, such as grilled chicken breast or an avocado salad. Bon Appetite!
